the house didn’t burn down, the world did not end, and even better – my phone turned right back on.

When was the last time you completely disconnected? I mean like no phone, no social media, nothing…

After weeks of my #iPhone informing me of my screen time, and feeling severely judged, I decided Sunday I would finally “slide to power off”. Instead of rushing to thumb click cancel from a failed screenshot, I would actually turn my phone OFF this time.

I’m not going to be dramatic and say my life changed, but instantly I felt a sense of release and wondered – “what am I going to do!?” Well, I’ll tell you, I meal prepped and finally opened my new book I ordered from #AmazonPrime over the holidays but never opened. Which if you don’t have a copy of “In the Company of Women” I recommend you add this to your book list.

I did this for three hours yesterday afternoon and if it eases your mind – the house didn’t burn down, the world did not end, and even better – my phone turned right back on.

#CHALLENGE! Pick a day/time you can take a few hours for yourself and check off and prioritize some lingering to-do things.
